I doubt they will bump Ross with a silver and with the PCS they gave Vincent I think they will send him too. Karen had a trillion URs as well and she got the spot. Adam's #bodyofwork is not as strong as his two silvers on the grand prix would lead you to believe because he missed the end of last season.

Vincent I believe by an edge. He got 4th at Cup of China and 9th in France. Ross got 6th at Skate America.

Um, if they had sent Vincent to Worlds in 2017, he would have had the "body of work". Kind of unfair.

Rippon's performance was a disaster and he showed that he crumbles under pressure. Vincent was visibly nervous but held it together rather well. I second sending Vincent.

He needs more experience period. His senior debut season was underwhelming to say the least. And yes, he tried his best here, but with that many URs he needs a loooot of work still.

He isn't making the podium in Pyeongchang either and I'm very skeptical that these guys going for 5 quad programs are going to last long in the sport. We can check back in 4 years and see.

Right. I don't see these 5 quad guys still competing at the top level at age 28, like Adam. The ISU really needs to change the rules to limit the number of quads.

I'd agree with that. Vincent isn't quite ready for prime time.

Neither are Adam and Jason if prime time means the Olympic podium. Or the Nationals podium, potato medal notwithstanding. If prime time means 2022 Olympics, then for sure Vincent will be much more ready than they will be.

And more importantly, even though Vincent got 9th in France, he scored a total of 222, whereas Ross placed 6th with only a 219. So.......
