I mean...It is not even about making them appear as 'a couple' (which for me is just wrong to assume automatically that ID team is good/worthy only if they make cute couple or appear to be in a relationship) - the underappreciated, underestimated trait in ID is to have a kind of chemistry that enriches BOTH partners while performing, that they appear to respect and understand each other, their material, story they want to tell, emotions they want to express. It just makes a team 'rounded', enabling them to make stronger connection with each other and the audience, even through the screen.

Now, that was a program and performance of it that outshined a lot of senior RDs this season: very mature, controlled, such sharpness in every move, fantastic, vivid expression, the way they communicate with each other without words...I particularly loved the shot of exiting non-touching step sequence when Marjorie was not face to face with Zachary yet her hand went just in his. The trust, understanding is that kind of chemistry I want to see. They outsold, period.
