Alena Kanysheva has one boring free program. Reminds me of standard boring routines to classical pieces that were popular among Japanese skaters until quite recently.

It is possible to perceive this, but at least there is a choreographic intention. Which is not the case for everyone ...

Safonova is in her ordinary state, Kanysheva is just after illness (cold) and skated significantly worse than she can.

Kanysheva was sick? I didn‘t know that. I thought she was in the middle of a growth spurt and thus some of her jumps (3Lz in particular) looked off.
