2019 World Championships Pairs Short Program

SBS stream went a bit hoppy during that one - trying to match the music? Excellent program, though.

Chinese babies slaying, yesss! :yes2: Hope both teams will end up in last group for FS.

Jin is just pure charm. And Peng is adorable. :)

YAAAAYYY!!! OMG, my sweeties! I love Peng/Jin, I loive this program, and they absolutely nailed it! Honestly I might put it ahead of Sui/Han. S/H have the PCS advantage, but P/J really showed the seasoning of having competed all year with just so must smoothness and self-assuredness in that. Higher and faster throw than S/H, if you can believe it !

What a great program for Peng/Jin. So perfect to bring out her personality. And those Chinese throws are just spectacular.

Peng / Jin (CHN)

Tech: Great sync on the solid sbs 3Ts, secure catch on the 3Twist, fantastic landign on the throw 3Lo, good rotation on the death spiral (Level 4), strong sync through the spins (a little off near the end), good timing and spirit through the footwork, strong lift to finish the program

Pres: Good, light, casual energy throughout the program (especially from Peng), not as intricate as Sui/Han's but still very good speed and choreography, clean performance that will set them up very well for the free skate

Total: TES 41.28, PCS 34.23, Total 75.51 (currently 2nd)

I'll join the crowd and say this was absolutely my favorite pairs short of the season! So glad they killed it.

I actually just got sad when I remembered it was the last time we'll see it. And then I bought the song on iTunes :dance3:

Also, back to the Chinese team's costume designer. How in the world did they manage to make a black dress give off sunny vibes...so impressed. The "fireworks" really capture the feeling of the program even though it is black. It could also be the Peng just lights up the entire arena.

P/J are the new leaders in height (1.07m) and speed out of the throw jump (20km/h). S/H still had better distance (6.16m) comparing to their 5.74m.

P/J are pure joy. Will never forget how I felt seeing that program live at GPF! Not quite SB but great work again!
