My guess is Liza lost the level feature on the first basic camel position in her CCoSp, she only did 1 1/2 clear revolutions before changing position, minimum is 2 revs according to rules, e.g. Anna did 3 1/2 revs in her CCoSp in the same basic position before switching to a sitspin position, therefore she was given the level feature.

Shcherbakova's sadness and Usachyova's self-criticism. Figure skaters presented their short programs in Sochi
SOCHI, October 24. / TASS /. Eteri Tutberidze's pupils Dar'ya Usachyeva and Anna Shcherbakova lead after the short program at the third stage of the Russian Figure Skating Cup in Sochi. The favourite of the stage, Shcherbakova, lost by little less than a point to Usachyova. Usachyova received 78.41 points for her skating run, Shcherbakova - 77.47, third is the pupil of Alexeyi Mishin Yelizaveta Tuktamysheva (77.36).
14-year-old Usachyova came out first in her flight, performing a short program from the musical "Moulin Rouge" - the skating of the athlete looked whole and easy, except for a slight loss of balance on her cascade of triple Flip - triple Toeloop, and the judges also noted an unclear edge on the Lutz. After the performance, the athlete herself self-critically noted that her performance was worse than at the stage earlier in Moscow, and she considers the lower scores to be completely deserved. Usachyova also announced that in the near future she plans to insert a triple Axel into the program - now she is actively learning this complex element.
The skating run of the 16-year-old Shcherbakova, whose superiority over her rivals was practically not questioned by the experts, was not ideal - the athlete in her program to the elegy of Jules Massenet made a mistake on the cascade of triple Lutz and triple Rittberger. After the performance, the skater found it difficult to hide her emotions, and she chose to refrain from communicating with journalists.
Tuktamysheva, the 2015 World Champion, who appeared in a performance under the adagio from Aram Khachaturian's ballet "Spartacus" in a new dress, looked much more confident. Tuktamysheva, for whom the tournament in Sochi was the first of the season, quite confidently coped with the triple Axel, and also performed a cascade of triple Lutz with an arm up and a triple Toeloop, in which the judges saw an under-rotation. The experienced 23-year-old figure skater believes that she still needs to work on not “sneaking up” on difficult jumps, and she also noted that she is delighted with her new dress, remade from the one in which she performed in September at the test skates of the national team.

Liza is really moving in the right direction, I love it. She knows where she needs to go forwards it looks like. So improved compared to a month ago. And that Flip edge was not even debatable, very solid. All this despite being injured recently.

This is not true. And leave alone Anna, please. She is a hardworker an amazing skater and personality. You can blame the judges for the unfair scoring not her.
But see, that's the point. Your liking is not in the rules. There is a difference.

I disagree. I think it's the discussion afterwards and vitriol thrown towards who are for the most part children. And regardless of scoring, that will always happen because people aren't objective.

On a bright note, I enjoyed Liza for the first time ever. It's a nice program and a very nice dress. If she continues on this path, sooner or later the bigger scores will come.

If that was fake information by Edwin then that's on him. But I'll try to be more down the middle and not favor one side over the other. Wait I don't even do that. I've always been fair on this board never complain about scores never go crazy about scores like when KV got her scores a couple weeks ago in the short program causing a furor in RLT. I don't root against anyone and cheer for all even though I prefer others over some. You are the biased one about everything Plushenko. I look at it like this I like some things about him and some things not to like about him. One of the things I like about him is that he gets his Stars paid with endorsements and future shows and they deserve it.That was a fake information from Edwin. The crowd was angry when they saw Konstantinova's scores and not Kamila or Daria's cases according to those Fs fans who were in the arena. I hope you and Edwin don't come to Aliona and Sasha fanthread. That would be sincere. Your bias is more than ridiculous.

I don’t have much time to do a full review of each performance but good job to all the ladies! I’m happy to see Daria in first (PCS should’ve been first with that performance too)! Anna was beautiful, as always, it’s a shame about the mistake on the combo. She’s currently my favorite senior (while Evgenia isn’t competing, that is) but it’s true I think she benefits the most from overscoring. It’s nice to see Liza in good shape. I can’t enjoy her combo because she has the most distracting, not aesthetically pleasing, Tano variation.. Sofia too, what’s with Mishin? But good on her for landing the 3A and it was a nice program for her.
