Just no. The Japanese team got their levels. The Americans didn't. End of discussion. And, I like both American teams and agree that they are sometimes underscored. But, the Japanese deserve to be in first. They were perfect.

It's never the end of the discussion in figure skating. Quite clearly, she fell on his arm on the dismount, and they were given a 1.30+ The throw landing was okay as it was saved, but didn't deserve 1.89. Love them as you will. I enjoy watching them, but the huge rise in scores for them is, in part, political, with apparently most skating fans happily and lovingly on board. LOL!

They do come across a lot better live. I've seen their Bond programme, which I found super boring, but it looked much better live.

Besides the fact that Evgenia had a defeated look on her face for most of the program, it was brilliant. Wish the song didn't change, because the first one is prettier. Clear winner.
