The commentator here complained she didn't skate with enough expression. In my opinion, I don't think she is any worse than the Russian girls of this past quad.

Great skate from Young You!!! I wonder whether that's going to affect Sasha (ahem, Eteri's) strategy for whether to try the 3A? this is exciting!

Young's 3A is close enough that I don't mind her putting it out there. This is a good program, but I feel like her team doesn't fully understand who she is as a skater.

I don't get the love for the Korean dresses... there's always too much going on. Too many cheap looking rhinestones, too sparkly. Yuna's dresses were never so over the top.

Oh, the first fall of the SP, but Young is, I think, right to go for the 3A. If she doesn't try it in competition, she isn't going to land it in competition, though I did flinch at the fall and her sliding into the boards. Bravo to her for getting up and heading into the combination without being rattled by the fall. Loved her spread eagle to Ina Bauer - that was a thing of beauty.
