I think Oona and Gage have a problem similar to Meryl & Charlie in their early days in that they both appear so small and young and may have a hard time pulling senior level marks as a result. There is a lot to like in their skating skills, originality and performance. this is first place for me easily even though I don't particularly find the music memorable.

you know i like the Browns and this program will absolutely rock in junior, but climbing the standings in ice dance usually takes a while and they have a lot of teams ahead of them, they also have time, they just turned seniors, they'll get there, just not today

A rather subdued choice, by the standards of the Browns. Maybe they are thinking of lulling their new peers in Seniors into a false sense of security.

I think part of it that they need to drill levels more - they have a tendency for early season L1 steps when they are frankly better than that

they need to put total segment scores up because it is the weekend and my brain did not manage those simple calculations

And to this I would add that though being siblings helps immeasurably with their connection and synchronization, it hurts them in other areas that are useful as one moves up in the ranks of dance
