I misspoke, the Japanese pair and ice dance team lifted their partners in the air and the other members of the team moved near them, that was in fact the cutest thing ever.

Shoma's presence is indeed missed, but I'm incredibly glad this ceremony was able to happen after all this time...

Evan Bates and Madison Hubbell both seemed very emotional receiving their medals. Vincent was very reflective getting his and he received the loudest cheers. The rest were very pleased and joyful. Towards the end Madi Chock got very emotional getting her flowers. They all seemed very happy to see each other.

What a beautiful ceremony and fitting compensation for the long wait. I'm a little sad that Shoma couldn't attend, but very happy for Vincent especially - after the ordeal he went through in Beijing.

Other than the polluted Seine, I haven't seen anything that Paris hasn't done in a superb manner. One of the best things about this ceremony is that the skater's families got to see them get their medals. Yayyyy

Nathan can take his niece to Paris Disneyland LOL. The whole thing was very well done! I just missed Canada, my only sticking point.
