All the Winter Olympics sports medal ceremonies that I am aware of take place later at a medals plaza or similar space. Fun fact from Adam’s book: all athletes get a special outfit that they are only allowed to wear in the case they medal. That’s what they wear on the medal stand.

All Team USA athletes for sure.
But I suspect that Adam was not making a blanket statement for athletes from all other countries? My guess would be that some federations probably could not afford separate outfits for every athlete to have on hand for the possibility of the medal ceremony.
