2022 Olympics Team Event Day1: Rhythm Dance

Well Canada is kind of screwed now. The one point advantage won't help Team USA for gold as things stand, but a major slip up in the short could now be costly for ROC, especially if they are second in the FD as well. KoKo got lucky with placing seventh, that will keep them closer to the US in order to push for silver.

There US won.

I love it when posters are like "The fix is in! Russians cheating again no surprise."

Then they don't win or whatever and crickets. Like no-one has the grace to apologise. They just pretend they never said it and we're all supposed to forget they did.

Mmmm'kay that's totally fair.

I’m sorry, I may get an infraction for this…but

Honestly how much is Russia paying these judges. First Mark and his GOE for sloppy landings and a spin he almost fell out of. Now a visible error in the midline and overall sloppy performance and still scores don’t reflect it at all.

It’s getting hard to watch when the judging is so outrageously biased.

It will be hard for Japan to get silver now. However, it isn't impossible. Koko placed as expected.

Keegan being out with COVID really hurt Canada. Keegan's SPs this year have all been in the 90s. He likely would have scored above or similarly to Mark K. I don't think they are going to make the FS.

I think Japan is safely into the team event at this point - I might actually guess it'll be Georgia going with them, but China, Canada, Georgia and the Czech Republic are tight.
