2022 Olympics Team Event Day1: Rhythm Dance

GILLES Piper / POIRIER Paul

I actually like the bold color of their costumes, though I think they're also a bit cheap-looking. That said, they have very good edging and precision, sacrificing some speed in their elements. They have a LOT of tricky connections that are just insane. I think this is going to go into second for now.

GILLES Piper / POIRIER Paul CAN

1 Sequential Twizzles Woman 3+Sequential Twizzles Man 3 8.69
2 Midnight Blues 1st Sec 3+kpYYNY 9.01
3 Pattern Dance Type Step Seq Woman 2+Pattern Dance Type Step Seq Man 3 10.37
4 Rotational Lift 4 7.00
5 Midline Step Sequence 2 10.40
Total Element Score: 45.47
+ PCS 37.25

= 82.72

Piper and Paul always bring it, even in the bows, and I love them for it.

The costumes are a choice, but I like outside the box. Better than another gauzy dress and another fake jacket.

Doesn´t look so great for Team Canada this time. Dance was supposed to be their strongest discipline. Piper and Paul did well enough, but the scores weren´t great.

Dislike someone all you want, but in the warmup situation Nikita wasn't the skater in the wrong, H/D were going forward they were the skaters that should have moved to avoid contact.
Didn't see that incident and wasn't commenting on it. I was commenting on why Nikita is (deservedly) hated.
