do you not realize the enormity and the weight of the situation Kamila has dealt with the last week? at the biggest competition of her entire life? what Eteri said is standard for a normal competition under normal circumstances, but not one where her 15 year old student's entire career came crashing down around her in the biggest sporting scandal of the year. Eteri is absolutely a monster for not treating Kamila as a human being in the most vulnerable, difficult moment of her entire life. these girls really are disposable to her.

honestly i don't think a lot of us do either.
She made several mistakes. It's not like her quads were all clean, and her 2A-3T was messy as well. It is alwas quality before quantity. Even when she lands her jumps, they have no flow.
I agree, she had no choice but to go all out. Maybe the 3A in the short was a stupid decision, because in all her practice reports she hardly ever landed that jump.
In the end, there's no way around but to try and increase the PCS, because otherwise it will never be enough.
Actually it was a nice competition until Kamila's skate and the drama that followed afterwards.

I give full credit to all the ladies for doing their best on the olympic stage. Yay Kaori, Anna, and Sasha. I just feel for Kamila - she is the scapegoat. A lot has been said but we do not know if there is evidence of national dopig, an accident, sabtage from a jealous competitor whatever. After seeing the amazing free programs and the quality and technical skill wow. So much pressure on these ladies. But as for fairness I think about some people with more money, designer babies picking and choosing semen and eggs, switching countries and the list goes on. SKaters enjoy your olympic moment. You all earned it and shame on those abusing, using these young ladies.

Kamila will get back up and come back stronger than ever, right? How do I have a bad feeling that Olympics FS will be her last? I feel like she's under so much scrutiny that she wants to stop.

Russia and Eteri won't care if she stops. She's no longer useful, and several more girls are coming around on the conveyor belt.

Seeing Anastasiia Gubanova put down an amazing skate on the Olympic stage is not something I ever thought I’d get a chance to see. We all needed and deserved that performance

I wonder if Kamila could go to Brian Orser for a fresh start and rebuild with a healthier approach (assuming he would sign on, of course). They allowed it for Medvedeva...
Unfortunately I think you have this backwards. If Eteri stays with her-- I would be absolutely shocked. Sad as that is.

After this week's emotional roller coaster, second-guessing is the last thing that Kamila needs. What on earth was Eteri thinking?
That poor girl needs peace and quiet and tons of hugs, not scolding. I wonder if she wants to continue skating. If she does, I really hope she leaves Eteri.

I just wish she wasn´t trapped in this Olympic village now with the team with people she can´t stand now. Poor girl needs her family and her dogs. Is it possible they call pull her out of the gala if she wants and just go home right away? This isn´t good for her mental health So Eteri is responsible for Aleksandra's post award ceremony behavior and is the bad guy? Most coaches wouldn't put up with what she did either regardless of nationality. Maybe Eteri will "fire her" like Frank did Tim cause no coach wants an attitude like that around their rink

Yes it was full of visibly clean skates. I haven't watched Kamila's performance and never will because there is no point in seeing the poor child fall.
I hope she can reset and end on a clean performance somewhere down the track.

Kamila is a nervous skater, only this season she has been more consistent. Even with Akatieva
I dont see anyone from the current 14 year old crop of russian skaters with kamilas combination of fexibility, lines, quads and axel and maturity for her age. It will be a BIG Loss if we dont see her skate again !
Compare Kamila to Muravieva, Petrosyan , Akatieva, Samodelkina, Kamila is only a year older.

i hope she either goes back to plushenko who watched her together with skaters from sashas group while she trained there on live stream. or to someone ekse just far far away from eteri
