Lori-Ann likely hasn't received either a release from Skate canada or special permission to perform at foreign National championships, ergo they'd have to skate outside of competition and can't appear on the official results page.

Mmmm. They why were they on all the pages before today? If the organisers knew she wasn't eligible, why didn't they have them marked as guest skaters, or have them in a category of their own? These are what normally happens in these situations.

They were included in the results of the Master's De Patinage in September (4th in both segments, and overall), so why not here?

If this is the reason, it was badly handled. It makes it look unnecessarily suspicious having them on the pages, and then deleting them. I have to be honest, my first thought when this happened was that one of them had failed a drugs test.

Did anybody catch who the female commentator with Olivier today is? I was too busy writing my reply about Matte / Pierre, and wasn't paying attention to the start of the commentary. (Not that I pay attention to it normally! But I usually keep a close ear to it at the start in case the commentators introduce themselves).

Funny, I was actually thinking about her yesterday. Wondering why she wasn't competing.

There weren't any female names on the only set of credits I've seen, so I hadn't a clue who it might be. But, I had a feeling that it would be a skater, as all the other people joining Olivier in the commentary box have been skaters.

She sounds nice.

Have to say, I like the music that Davide LEWTON-BRAIN (MON) is using for both his programmes this season.

I like both the original and this cover. It's amazing how two versions of the same song can be so different. (It has long been a dream of mine to see two programmes to the two versions done back-to-back).

But in Davide's case, I think the gentler Simon & Garfunkel original might suit his skating better. The dramatic Disturbed cover is a bit too big for him.

Into 3rd in the FS, and 2nd overall.

Just when I see Xan ROLS (NICE), another thing I was wondering. Where is his brother, Joshua? As far as I know, he hasn't competed this season. Is he injured? Has he packed it in?

Nice to see Brian sitting with Xan.

He goes into a decent lead of both FS and overall.

I liked the song. Unfortunately I can't say I liked the skate. It was a nightmare.

He looked disappointed waiting for his scores. And out of breath too.

Into 5th in the FS, and 3rd overall.

I don't like this cutting away from the Warm-Up to show programmes from the SP. During the Group 1 Warm-Up, they showed Adam. And now during the Group 2 Warm-Up, they are showing Kevin.

Could they not have shown these during the resurfacing in between the Short Track Speed Skating and the Men's FS, and let us watch the live Warm-Up action?!

Well, I'm going to be leaving for my dinner shortly. So, I'll pause it, and play catch-up after eating.

Really sad to see this happen, Kevin's Bolero has been one of my favorite programs this season. Hoping he has a chance to regroup before Euros.
