34 Yihan WANG CHN skates to Orobroy by Semblanzas Un Rio in red. Strange fall on opening combo, followed by a second fall. Looks like her foot or boot gave out. She has lovely spins, but seems a bit slow. Oh dear another fall. I hope she has another chance somewhere to sort out whatever was plaguing her today and let us see her on a better day.

2Lo most likely a popped 3Lo, but it looked convincing that Shiqi still got a +GOE regardless

35 Shiqi GAO CHN skating in ombre navy blue and white to Princess Mononoke. Opens with 3LZ-2A-2T under review, next combo in red, followed by 2L and stumble out of 3F. She has lovely posture, spins and a nice bauer and full split jump. Very gentle style and interpretation. She seems to be gaining confidence as the program goes on. Good skate that will give her some experience to learn from.

36 Anna PEZZETTA ITA (paging @elektra blue)
She skates to Winter and Crying Violin by Vivaldi in all black. She opens with a bug 3LZ-2T, then fall on 3L, recovers with 2F. Eek 2A-1Eu-3F (fall). Really nice bauer that drops into well controlled knee slide. Struggling a bit in the later part of the program but no major misses. Fast, well done spins. Always appreciate Winter when done as well as this was. Nice job Anna - don't be sad, you learned a lot today.

Honestly, after seeing so many Chinese juniors this season, I truly think many of them are just tired already. Their competition season started back in July at the domestic club league in China, and they had to perform well there too to be selected for the JGP events
