This is the only event at tis year's Worlds where I'm well and truly emotiinally invested and I'm nervous as hell. C'mon, penultimate group, get me in the mood!

Allison & Saulius skating really well. They seem energized by the results at Europeans. C'mon LTU lets get this girl citizenship already. Yay for them. I loved that.

So sorry for his loss. Fond memories of watching Chris and Cathy dance at 2009 WC.

Random aside: the Reeds have carried ice dance in Japan for years. Chris and Kana and Chris and Cathy used to be the sole Japanese international ice dance team. Currently, Cathy coaches Kida/Morita, a promising junior dance team, along with several other teams, and does a lot of (very good) choreography for both dance and singles. They've even started a national ice dance trophy in Japan in Chris' memory. Dai is doing a lot to get people interested in dance, but the Reeds have also done so much in attempting to create a dance program in Japan.

Such a beautiful skate by Juulia & Matthias. Their posture and style makes my eyes very happy.
