Just goes to show how opinions can differ. To me Everhardt is completely cold and disengaged in her program—and I liked Gubanova’s

I didn't feel anything from both? But Mlle. Everhardt has much better jumps and had a much better skate.

It may be a weird analogy, but watching Mlle. Everhardt felt like going to a Burger King and ordering a Whopper. Looks nice, solid stuff, but you get nothing else. And I have not gone to a Burger King willingly in about 6 years

This was such a random music choice, but I'm totally into it, it works really well with Kaori's skating style. I love the speed and energy in the choreo sequence, and this program really stands out from some of the more generic programs we've seen so far. She looked fatigued here (normal because it is very early season) so I think the program will shine even more in a few months. She changed up her jumping layout with two lutzes from last season, so I don't know where her third combination will go, but no 3+3 and only two combos will hurt her BV a lot.
