I am confused about the layout though...even with planned 3F+3T she is still missing a 3 jump combo, and can't repeat 2A any more times....also, no 3S today?

No she won Cranberry which is also a Challenger! So this is impressive streak (medals in both)

I appreciate her trying new styles and she's working hard, but the thing is that I only get that she's working hard and not, you know, getting there. Of course this is the early season and she might sell me this later on, but so far I was just going 'yeah speed and power are given as expected but what else'

No. She won Cranberry Cup last month. That was her first challenger.

This program is a no for me. You have to sell it if you’re going to skate to something like that. And Sakamoto only gets into it for the last 29 seconds or so. It could be early season, but for the program isn’t a good fit. The choreography’s good, though.

Well, that does bring out the fun side of Kaori’s personality, I will say that.

Not what I would personally give to a reigning three time World Champion, but that’s on me

I have not been vibing with any of Marie-France's music/choreography choices for Kaori the last couple seasons.

Kaori was the bee's knees up until that last jump, that program really accentuates her personality! (Note to self, shortbread cannot replace a Kaori scone...)
