aww, she's so happy! Congratulations to our champion!

WOW, AMBER! The dress is lovely, and I like the program even though it is also a bit generic and very similar to her past six? seven? free skates. She is performing it the whole time, so she should get very high PCS regardless of my feelings on the free. There were a few small mistakes, but overall this was a huge improvement on her past disaster free skates and will give her so much confidence heading into the rest of the season!

I am confused about the layout though...even with planned 3F+3T she is still missing a 3 jump combo, and can't repeat 2A any more times....also, no 3S today?

Me too!!
She also repeats her 3Lz and it is obvious going to get an edge call when she jumps this jump twice.
She should keep her layout. Her jump layout was perfect for her jumping skills

Boring program, but at least Amber seems to have overcome the glitch where she makes the 3A but bombs the next combo. We are making progress, and I heartily applaud her for that

lol.. i think i am the only one who likes Kaori's program. it's fun ! She shows something different... so tired of boring music like Guba's or Amber's.. i prefer Kaori coming up with something else

I patiently waited to the second half of Glenn’s free skate. Not perfect, but it’s no where near the meltdowns of last season, either. She just won this. PB incoming.

Gubanova had my favorite program of the final group and if you had told me that yesterday, I would have thought I was having another out of body experience with a hint of vertigo and a large dose or derealization. But there was some nice skating that I will enjoy next time watching with my hearing aids turned off.

Amber, opposite of Kaori, has nailed the perfect layout for her skillset
