Yoshida’s definitely a free skate skater. I liked the program; it fits her so well. I like that she’s always outside the box. I just wish she’ll clean up her SPs.

Hana is in such good form, wonder if it's really necessary so early. Compared to all the previous skaters she is from another planet skating-wise. Not a fan of her music but love how she interprets it with choreo, not just skates to it.

Yeah I'm no francophone but even I can tell that, but do I have to choose between actual French and atrocious music I don't enjoy SOS that much even when it's the Gregory Lemarchal version (which nobody uses) and the covers are just insult upon injury

Hana is a fave of mine because she always has the best programs. I love her costume here. I like the choreo. Don't love the song and I don't think she's 100% comfortable with the program yet....still it's Hana so I am sure I will grow to love it.

She will grow into the program and choreo, it‘s just a matter of time

The first couple groups of skaters were rough.... it would really take some serious effort to fall out of the top 10....but perhaps I am underestimating their abilities...

Hey they earned those slots with wonderful skates. After last year, I am happy to see them take advantage of their opportunities. Go Canada!

I think Hana was hoping for a score in the 200s - she will need to go clean in the SP for that to happen I believe (future goals)

the best version is made in Quebec

I liked Dimash though... but probably because he's cute he tried hard for the French.

I think this is a great music choice for Maddie - she does intensity and drama so well. My concern is that if things start to spiral, this is a music choice that won't help you get back on track - the fast beat and the ominous chords aren't conducive to mentally resetting. She did a great job here after the two opening mistakes, but things unraveled in the second half. At least she got all of her combos done.

The program is lovely as is her costume - but she skates scared. We need her to start with a money jump to find her knees and be feisty Maddie
