I actually really enjoyed Elyce in the FS.
Loved the choreo sequence with the use of her hands during the Ina Bauer. Her skating is very smooth and pleasant to watch. The music was a bit boring until the choreo sequence, and she gives absolutely nothing in the face, similar to Sarah E., but her skating is a little more refined compared to Sarah. I would have called a q on the 3T of the 3Lz-3T combo but everything else looked fully rotated. I thought the ! calls were harsh, especially on her last 3F. Of course, I'm also astonished by her PCS and would have put her at low 8s at a maximum across the board, but she deserved the win. Hope she gets 2 GPs.
Isabeau is a gorgeous skater, and good for her for coming back strong in the FS after the costly error in the SP. She knows how to put things behind her. The jump technique is not great, of course. Unfortunately, she's been the definition of one-note for me. It's a beautiful one-note, but I've just seen way too many piano or classical LPs from her at this point of her career.
My favorite program was from Hana Yoshida though. The music conveniently cried "Ahhh..." after she popped the 3Lz, but I just loved the choreography and her commitment.
Mone Chiba doesn't do much for me for right now sadly. I liked her SP, but overall, her jumps look small, and she often looks scared on the ice.

It's too bad, because I do think that the program has a lot of potential. It is a good fit for her style and strengths. I also like her dress - I'm always a fan of criss-cross backs. In terms of her performance, she performs well with her body, but I find her facial expressions a bit awkward.
