Well, I suppose when everybody else reaches for "Dernière Danse", it makes a change for Nella to go for a different Indila song. But, I prefer "Dernière Danse". That was depressing.

And unfortunately, the performance turned out depressing too.

Sitting waiting for the scores, you could see that she knew it was going to be bad. But when the score came up, it was even worse than she was expecting, and she burst into tears.

I don't like to see scenes like that.

Into 16th and penultimate position in the FS, and 14th overall.

Nella, you are a beautiful skater. Today wasn't your day, but I'm sure things will go better next time.

Nella why are you skating the worst skate of the season just now? Well 15th place is enough.

I think any placement is enough because her dropping behind Emmi means Emmi got 12 points for 12th place and every placement behind 15th is getting 16 points. 28 points for two skaters from the same country is (barely) enough to keep 2 quota places.
