Good skate for Olivia Lisko. Even if she ends up last (and I don't think she will for the SP - someone will mess up), she has given a really good account of herself.

Olivia had a good skate too - some slightly lacking rotation on two jumps notwithstanding, the program seemed too princessy-sleepy for my personal taste but Olivia felt herself in it which is what matters the most. The highlight was 2A out of a difficult entr for me. Women began their SP much better than men certainly

This music bothers me. Why couldn't she find an ethereal operatic rendition of that lovely commercial jingle "the touch, the feel of cotton/the fabric of our lives"?

I suppose I'll have to wait until Canadian nationals for a woman to skate to that.

Another good skate! Love Olivia's fist pumps of jubilation at the end. She looked relaxed and confident throughout, held on to her lutz landing with determination, and skated well all the way through.
