Gaaaahhhh!!!!! I don't know who this is singing for Estelle DAMOIS (FRA), but idon't want to hear them again! So many songs I liked got murdered in the medley. :drama:

Bet you that it's from "Glee" or something like that.

Did I hear right? Did she go into 5th position?!

No. Crimes against music are being committed here.

And then Katrin MORGENROTH (DEU) comes out in the most inauspicuous dress, and skates to a song that I would never have imagined being skated to, unless it was by Amodio or Joubert.

And it took me so long to get my head around it that I can't remember enough lyrics to find out who sung it!

Or her position.

The Polish cheer squad and their flags are back, this time for Anna HADACZEK (POL).

Oh, they're having to wait a long time.

She goes into 3rd. And she looks disappointed.

Monja Erika BOWALD (CHE) skating to a Queen song that I have never seen being skated to before. "I Want It All".

And it was absolutely brilliant!!!

Well, apart from the very noticable roungh edit.

But, even with that, it is definitely my favourite programme so far in this competition. If not the day.

You can see how much she was enjoying herself. And even when waiting for her scores, she looked like she was having the time of her life!

She goes into 2nd position.

What have I just watched?

I think that is the most surreal skating programme I have ever seen.

Nadine VAKSIC (HRV) was dressed as a ship's captain, and skating to what I can only imagine to be a French joke song.

And she goes into the lead! :dbana:

I have got to find a video of this to show somewhere on the forum.

And it looks like the next skater, Katia WIŚNIEWSKA (LUX), has gone missing.

Mmmm. Even though one of them has disappeared, it's interesting that we have two skaters with Polish names representing Luxembourg in Level II.

Onto the next skater.

Definite nominee here from Aussieland.

Actually, it was a very clever programme from Nicola CHEYNE (AUS). A medley of "Escape" by Rupert Holmes, "Tequila" by The Champs, "Wipeout" by the Surfaris, and "Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba.

A story I am sure that @elektra blue will say that @balabam can relate to!

She goes into 5th position.

The opening day of this event may be only a half day, but it is bringing us an embarrassment of riches when it comes to nominees.

Janina KROGMANN (DEU) was dressed up as OIaf from "Frozen". I need say no more.

But, it was a fun programme!

She goes into 7th position.

Resurfacing time. (I really cannot understand where they are being positioned!)

Not your typical olè 💃 programme from Oksana RYNDINA (UKR). But I liked it!

Definitely seen Sara Hurtado wearing an almost identical costume.

Into 2nd position.

"All The Things She Said" by tATu playing in the background while the highlights for Laura MARKEY (GBR) were being shown.

Now there is a song I would love to see being skated to.

Beautiful programme from Mari OVERMARK (ITA) to "Speechless" by Naomi Scott.

I wouldn't have been able to guess from the dress that she would be doing an "Aladdin" programme, but who cares?!

The tribe are getting smaller as the day goes on. But, there were a few familiar faces (not least Daniela VALLONI, whose face is still fully painted despite it now being over 2 hours since she did her programme!)

She goes into 7th position.

Absolutely love everything about that programme from Anna LOHMANN (DEU)

No idea what the song was, but it made for such a fun programme.

And Anna could charm the birds from the trees. This may be the first time I have seen her, but she is the sort of person you can't help but take an instant liking to.

Another Berliner, I take it.

Into 6th position.

It's taken 5h 30m, but we just had our first Billie EIlish song. If it had been a regular competition, it would have taken less than an hour before she appeared!

BUT, it wasn't even Billie Eilish singing! It was that cover of "Bad Guy" that we hear occasionally during competitions.

Louise HILL (CHE) and her supporters are having to wait a very long time.

And the announcer was caught out, because she didn't announce them over the tannoy until after they had disappeared from the screen and Louise had finished celebrating!

She goes into 3rd position.

And now we have had our first "Nothing Else Matters" programme, courtesy of Katerina HOLLA (CZE).

But, this time I'm not complaining!

Katerina is another skater that looks far too young to be in an Adult competition.

Loved that programme.

She goes into 3rd position.

Erm, where's the music for Edit SZIVOSNE RABB (HUN)?

You know, I genuinely don't think they have it! She's had to go off the ice!

Ah, she's back.

And still there's silence.

Ah, it's started. But, it's at the wrong position.

If looks could kill, whoever Edit looked at would be lying on the ground!

Oh no, it's the cover of "Let's Get Loud" that Camila Cabello sung in that awful "Cinderella" film that I watched last week, and wished I hadn't!

She goes into 12th position.

Magdalena STRZELECKA-SALZER (DEU) really cheered me up after getting reminded of that terible film.

Everything about her programme was just beautiful. The music was beautiful. The skating was beautiful. Even the costume was beautiful, even though it was just blue denim shorts and a plain white T-shirt.

Into 9th position.

The announcer was making a point of saying Olga Walker (GBR)'s name a lot. I wonder if she is trying to make up for mangling the name of the final skater that will go in this competition, Florence BAUDRILLARD CLARK (GBR), at the start of the Warm-Up.

And I wonder if the girl sitting beside Olga was Florence, because she made a very hasty exit as soon as the scores were announced.

Just to answer my question, I'm not sure. It looks like her, but I thought the girl sitting with Olga was wearing a gold skirt. This girl is wearing a completely red dress.

She goes into 18th position.

🕶️ needed.

It's not often that you see a female skater doing a programme to music from "The Mask". But that is exactly what Nataliia GONCHAROVA (UKR) just did.

That said, although bright yellow, I wouldn't have guessed from her outfit that it was "The Mask". It was more like something that you would see being worn on Ladies Day at Ascot.

That was a good programme.

She goes into the lead.

Awwww, that was nice.

When Nina von EHR (DEU) was waiting for her results, she held up a pice of paper thanking somebody (can't remember the name) for the music.

Never seen a skater do that before. But, it was very thoughtful of her.
