when I first saw this nonsense about RD 50's, 60's, 70's, I was hoping there would be a team that would pick a few seconds from each decade. actually I wasn't surprised that the Blaas siblings did it. they are not a risk-averse pair. like. but unfortunately the program and the performance is not good. now the glass is half empty

Me neither, but dance is so tricky that way. It is so devastating and unfortunate and dangerous.
I'm so sorry for both teams who are obviously very talented. Onward and upwards in the free dance! I'll be rooting extra hard for them as I hate those double falls too. I well remember the clicking of blades by my CB at the Olympics resulting in a horrible fall.

The decades where one was free to try anything - music, fabrics, hair, dance styles. Some worked, a lot didn't. Ice dance can get a bit set in their ways. A breath of fresh air can open up the possibilities.

The lot that didn't was especially prevalent in my country, I fear though don't get me wrong, I have fond memories of the sillier side of 70s pop and teenagerdom. That's why I wish they'd get it right...
