If it was a camera, that's fine. Let them get the love of photography early on (but just encourage them to point the camera away from themselves so that we can see the world that they are seeing).
But if it was on a phone, Mummy and Auntie Elektra will have to take him in hand!
A few days ago, one of the big UK mobile phone companies said that kids under 11 shouldn't be allowed a smartphone. They should be using an old fashioned mobile. And I was thinking "what?! They shouldn't be allowed
any mobile phone. In fact, as far as I'm concerned, they shouldn't be allowed a mobile phone until they're 18!"
I managed perfectly well without a mobile phone when I was a kid / tenager. And I still manage alright! In fact, I like the freedom not having one gives.
So, I am sure that kids and teenagers nowadays would too!
