So can someone remind me what the final placements need to be for US to keep 3 ice dance spots? Am I paranoid to worry about this now that 3rd team likely won't make the free?

The third team doesn't matter as long as the first two teams' placements total 13 or lower. The third team could be me skating with my broom, but I don't think either of us could lift the other.

So sorry for Emily and Ian. They were looking so good! Making the finals may be a stretch. I see coach Greg Z but where's Charlie and Tanith? I wondered if that school has been shaken by Green and Parsons not making Worlds and now this oops.

Pointing this out here because I can't say it anywhere else. I just realized why I can't get past how gosh-darned attractive I find Benjamin Steffan. He's a (much younger) dead ringer for a gentleman I've had a low-key crush on for decades...

They need two teams to add up to 13 in placements eg 1st and 12th.

It was always going to be a risk with Green/Parsons not being sent. However they do have the reigning world champions

I guess if you're going to put on your biggest smile to skate to "Beds Are Burning" once, you may as well do it all season. That level of commitment to tackiness is what I live for in ice dance, after all!
