2025-26 Programs By Discipline

This is not a joke. Davis & Smolkin were told to get rid of "Bills, Bills, Bills" by Destiny's Child in their RD because it not upbeat and high energy enough

And sure enough, it is no longer on their bio, and has been replaced by "She’s Got Issues" by The Offspring

The fact that the teams are having trouble coming up with music that fits the theme because the theme is unworkable and spectacularly ill-advised, does not seem to have occurred to the ISU’s powers that be.

Which causes me to notice Fradji & Fourneaux still using "Bills, Bills, Bills" by Destiny's Child at Grand Prix of France. No one told them? Or just not in enough time to substitute?

Bratti & Somerville finally announced their RD. I am interested to see Jean Luc was involved with the choreo!

Emily BRATTI & Ian SOMERVILLE USA 🇺🇸
RD: "Vogue" by Madonna; "Walk 4 Me" by Tronco Traxx, Ralphi Rosario
FD: "Nureyev" from White Crow by Ilan Eshkeri, Lisa Batashvili, Dudana Mazmanishvili; choreo by Greg Zuerlein, Charlie White, Tanith White, Jean-Luc Baker

According to her ISU bio

Haein Lee KOR

Short Program: Sirens by Christopher Tin

Free Skate: The Bells of Notre Dame (from the Hunchback of Notre Dame) by Alan Menken

(Bear in mind that free skate music is not Notre Dame de Paris like her world medal winning free skate a few years back, it's actually from the Disney cartoon).

(Edit: she won world silver with phantom.. d'oh!)

That is very interesting, since her old Notre Dame de Paris programme did have about 3s of Disney's Bells of Notre Dame in the start of the program. I remember being super excited then super disappointed lol.

From their ISU bio:

Madison Chock/Evan Bates USA

Yep they definitely announced their free back in July as "Flamenco medley" with music by José Antonio Rodriguez:

The flamenco dance seemed very promising, I wonder why they ditch it.... unless it's some whacky medley of flamenco painted in black!? 😬

I better like Piper and Paul chooses of music

It may still be a modern flamenco. The choreographers are Marie-France Dubreuil, Antonio Najarro, Sam Chouinard
Might be, yeah. Or maybe they use Paint it Black and the one they originally announced and just forgot one of them in their bio. We will see...quite soon.

I'm happy about the SP, but disappointed about ditching Carmen. It had potential and was a better vehicle for Haein than the Notre Dame's program she did in 2023-24.
