Generally, Dance warm-ups and training seem to be the most collision-prone. There was even a competition a season or two ago at which the referee stopped a warm-up and scolded the teams because of a number of near collisions.

Last season there were RGP stages with just 4 teams and they looked very fine.10 people on the ice is too much. Especially considering ice dancers are normally faster.
