2025-26 Skate Ontario Jr/Sr Sectionals | Nov 6-9

Doris - strongest skate so far, total 114 to go into first.

Rachel - second Hometown Glory program I've seen today. She's smiling in it and I don't think it goes with the angst in the song. 110.97 into second, doesn't get the QMS.

Second group now warming up, the remaining skaters have the QMS.

Chantalle Elizabeth Chipilo gets 69.45 for the free, 113.02 total. Doris still has the lead after the second group.

Ice resurfacing before the final group.

I think I'm on the third Romeo and Juliet program of this event.

Alena Kolomiets was nice, one pop. Free 79.03, total 123.32, takes over the lead from Doris.

Sophie Gleason - Hunger Games, no costume change like Mia-Catherine though. Jumps looked good, then has issues with the camel in a combo spin. Free 83.09, total 127.47 into first with three to go.

Kaylee - hand down on the second jump, fall on the third. Gets the sequence right after. Another fall. Nice three jump combo and a big 2A to end the jumping passes.

Free 98.13, total 149.85 into first and will be on the podium.

Hannah - Hand down on the first jump, gets her 1A-1A sequence though. Fall on the second jumping pass and the third pass. Okay, the music stopped and she's talking to the referee. Megan thinks it's technical difficulties and the panel is figuring it out.

Oh, they're concerned that she hit her head on one of the falls. She's talking to medical personnel to be cleared before continuing.

Hannah starting again from when they stopped. Gets a combo in and into a spin. Step out on a jump in the second half. Gets another combo in. Spin out on the last jump with a smile.

They aren't showing the falls on the replay. The medical personnel did leave according to Megan, so she looks to be fine.

Free 85.40, total 142.59 into second.

Ksenia - first jump on the opening combo looked big. Gets a sequence after that. Landing on the third jump looked iffy, fourth pass looked good. Pop and step out on the first jump of the second half, then a fall. Not sure if the first jump in the last combo was a pop or planned.
