Oh yeah saw Bradie's SP on instagram. I absolutely love it. I've always had such a soft spot for her so I hope her gp season goes just as well.

That will be hard. The Japanese ladies: Ami, Kaori, Mone, and Rion are all having phenomenal seasonsWould it be inconceivable for American women to take gold, silver, and bronze at the Olympics? Wouldn't take much for an Alysa-Amber-Isabeau podium![]()
That's my thought as well. Even with two different boots Alysa scores almost 200 and lands most of her jumps where others would falter. Amber has gotten pretty solid and has really high score ceiling and Isabeau has the skating skills and consistency to lean on. And I love this group (their tiktoks together were hilarious), but... I will always have a soft spot for Bradie, and I at least want her to get a 4CC gold if not on Olympic Team.I think it will be really hard for any other skater outside of Amber, Alysa and Isabeau to make the Olympic team.
Let us not forget Sarah who is quite capable of jumping ahead of Isabeau.I think it will be really hard for any other skater outside of Amber, Alysa and Isabeau to make the Olympic team.
Amber has the 3A and already a 210+ score this year and has won Nationals twice in a row.
Alysa is the World Champion. She may do the worse this season. But, USA will never leave out the reigning World Champion. She locked that spot with a win at Boston.
Isabeau may have only placed 4th at GP France. However, her 210+ score is phenomenal. She also has placed top 4 at the WC’s the past three seasons.
However, if in some case, another American lady somehow wins two GP medals and sneaks into the GP finals, that is the only scenario I see with someone knocking out one of the above. But, even then. Those top three just have too solid resumes. I’m really rooting for Bradie though…

It would be very difficult for the US to sweep the podium with Japan having 3 solid challengers for medal forget some 'minor' threats fro Europe or the Koreans.Would it be inconceivable for American women to take gold, silver, and bronze at the Olympics? And Bradie is one tough fighter. I still think it would be really hard for a sweep.Let us not forget Sarah who is quite capable of jumping ahead of Isabeau.
Right, and we know that Alysa competed at that assignment with her boots being held together by a prayer. I was surprised by how well she actually skated given the circumstances.Alysa's the skater among the three most likely contenders who has the lowest scores this year and IMHO the least appealing programs ( that may change, her FS has potential) but she was world champion last year. It would take a lot to knock her off the team.
Promise is a spectacularly choreographed program; I think keeping it for the season would be a great decision. This sp could easily score an 83÷ at the Olys with a 3A, final group position, and WC bona fides.Right, and we know that Alysa competed at that assignment with her boots being held together by a prayer. She's going to use Promise for her SP this weekend, and I hope she's gotten her boot issues resolved and can just skate.
It might just be for this competition. Lady Gaga is banned in China. To be honest, I think this is a bit disappointing to hear. The promise progam was lovely and I'm happy to see it again, but her Donna Summer FS is just an ok program. I thought her Lady Gaga program had promise. She just wasn't able to perform it with the commitment or speed it required. I wish she would have kept it at least a few more months to see how it worked out. But, of course, it's the Olympic season and most skaters play it safe.
