Isabeau fought for many of her jump and minefested a couple of combos, but it think she'll win

Clear for Isabeau. SP buffer plus she gets higher PCS here again. The rough edges wont demote her to silver. GGWP. Would've liked to see Hilmer on bronze but I agree her FS does not compare to the SP.

the 3lz-3t combo is not good... just not good and i don't think it will ever be.

but the bigger problem here is I don't think this program is of "olympic" stature. Isabeau has given us better before.

Idk, kind of feels like both Isabeau's SP and FS this year stay at exactly the same emotional/musical level the whole time without much in the way of crescendos or changes in mood. They're perfectly fine programs, but extremely safe for an Olympic season, and I feel like she could've done much better.

Solid skate.There were some under rotation and weak Stsq,but there is good room for improvements in the future.
The most important thing is that since last year her landings are much more softer which is healthier for her back.

After Samo you can see how Levito does not cover nearly as much ice, and less power to her skating. Half the jumping elements had cheated landings but I'd be shocked if they are called.

I feel like Samo took a moral victory at this event, she can really compete with anyone.

That is a gorgeous program for Isabeau skated with great sensitivity. Whatever she is doing to improve the jumps is working. I can only see her getting stronger with this program with more time. Lovely skate that I look forward to watching all season.

This FS could be great just needs to be developed. A really sophisticated skater could definitely make this "Olympic" level IMO we'll see if Isabeau is that girl. Very early start its only August!

137 is fair I think a low 200 is deserved for her 2 programs

It is the best international score she has had, at least representing Kazakhstan.

Isabeau was flawless, very elegant FS clean, the music reminds me to Eva Pate & Logan Bye FD last season , very great program structure too
