For Massachusetts we average 2 - 3 times a summer with a heatwave of 90 above for 3 days. This summer we are going into our 5th heatwave that's lasting 5 days. So its crazy.

i'm from north-east Sicily, on the Messina Strait. it's hot, but not as hot as the southern edge of the island, i consider myself lucky

Has it been so hot for you nonstop? Here we have a constant change between hot and rainy-cold every few days.

I wanted to go to Sicily on vacation but my boy was adamant that it has to be Croatia - for the 5th time...

Electricity is included here so I don't feel guilty for abusing the ac At the same time, I don't really like AC so I don't use it that much. It's off right now... will only turn it on when needed.... windows are closed too because of bad air quality from the forest fires.... it's really the apocalypse

The worst thing is that weather extremes just linger for so long now. We had two weeks back in June/early July with consistent 32+ °C, then three or so weeks of rain and now another predicted week of temperatures over 30 °C.

All the while, I'm just here trying to finally finish writing my thesis without going crazy. Wish me luck, my material & methods part alone is like 20 pages
