So many illnesses going around....Influenza A in the US and A and B in Japan....RSV and covid are pretty low here, but the flu for some unknown reason is sending more kids to the hospital.....just looked at our county health dashboard. Flu is down by half and covid and rsv continue to fall...

I listened to Meagan Duhamel earlier this evening, and she said that whatever was going around seemed to only be a 24 hour thing. Still sucks that people were getting sick at the worst possible moment, but at least it's doesn't seem to be an illness that's going to linger for long.

Good Question. ... I actually forgot we had 3 spots for our Men. I think Jimmy just made big case that it should be him. Is Jason injured? He has the judges in his pocket if he skates clean. He has the most experience with an international panel.

Maxim Namov is not skating - he still grieving for the loss of his parents…Camden was first alternate; and there was no announcement of
Jason Brown’s test skate performance where I hear he did not do a 3A in the program - Jason is performing this coming weekend in DC for the victims of that tragic plane crash to raise funds for their families.

Sadly, I and others here agree with you. Though her posture issues have improved a bit, they are still very annoying to me.

Skating Lesson Dave Lease said that Isabeau is in a difficult position - if she skates well at Worlds - that be good however, if she skates like she did for the test skate performance- it will hurt her reputation as well as that of USFS for selecting her to Worlds. I would hate for her to skate and re-injure her foot or hip and not be on the podium and have a Gracie Gold moment.

4CC's is wiping out the top skaters...Piper/Paul; Deanna/Max; Maddie; Chiba, Kazuki, and her my big beef was that pathetic kiss and cry area where who ever decorated it was out to lunch or had no training to consider how it looked on tv.

I loved the K&C. So much nicer than US ones..

I would like to know when Jason Brown has to exhibit his readiness for the return to play protocol? Camden is first alternate and I have to say 4CC only gives me more certainty in having more faith in Brown than Pulkinen. Camden’s total score at 4CC would have earned him 21st at last season’s Worlds.

Definitely. I'd much rather have Jason.

Jimmy is 3rd alternate. Camden is 1st alternate. Max is 2nd alternate (presumably he would decline). Jason was having boot problems. So Jason would have to not be ready and then Camden would have to pull out for some reason in order to get to Jimmy.

And I think this was very shortsighted on USFS' part.

Ummm, you did see the utterly embarrassing messes that were most of the GP KnCs, especially the US and Canada? This was a giant step upwards, and I am still dreading what Boston can and might display.

Sadly, I don't trust Camden as much as I trust Jason. If we're going to maintain our position in the standings, we need someone who can skate clean.
