Actually, for some of the skaters, like Matteo Rizzo, the scores here will count towards the Olympic Selection Committee's decision of who can go to the Olympics. Matteo has no shot at the Final, but he wants to get a really high score to beat out Nikolaj Memola. Others, like Andreas, need to hit a minimum score to be sent by their nation's Olympic body.

Ooooh. That's a point. Body of work, rather than just results from Nationals / Europeans / Four Continents. I never thought of that.
