There is such a lovely innocence to Haruna. She makes me smile.

Haruna opens with 3Lz, then 3S‑3T. Seems short on energy when skating to the reel. Nice 2A‑2T‑2Lo in the second half. Choreo sequence of arabesque spiral and Ina Bauer to Celine Dion. Wobbles in the end position, oops! All positive GOEs, and every jump landed. She seems satisfied with her skate.

Good skate from Leyla Cetin. Her dress looks might brighter here than it did in Ankara - shows just how much impact the rink lighting can have,

Just realized it was down to 2 last group in women, so gonna watch it live instead of gym. Cetin is a promising young skater.

Leyla starts with footwork, opens with a 3Lz, landing not secure, so she adds the 2T to her second 3Lz. Rippon 2A has lovely extension on landing, and then a series of turns and Ina Bauers (there may have been a spread eagle in there, but I forget) across the ice to enter her flying camel spin. Holds onto the landing of the 3F and makes the axel sequence happen from sheer will power, a very determined and gusty young skater. Her choreo sequence isn't just knee slides and spirals, but also includes twizzles and turns, which is nice to see.

Sofia Nekressova is a lovely skater. Shame about the falls, but she persisted.

Great to see the development of a school in Turkiye.

And another skater just starting out in juniors with a great promise. If Estonia ever need pairs, she might also be a fit.

Sofia. Beautiful dress and a wonderful program. Great skate and junior debut.

Sofia uses an interesting crouching Ina Bauer with hand on the ice as a transition into her 3S. Down on the 3Lz, but she gets up and goes for the 3Lo, and falls again, oh dear. Little relevé on the toe pick in her fly ch combo spin, and in her ch combo spin I like the way her free leg is extended in the sit behind position with her arm hooked behind her knee. Some fun slides in between which I thought were her choreo sequence, but weren't. Ina Bauer entrance to her 3T‑2T combination at the very end.

Both Leyla and Sofiia look so tiny for Juniors, but are very impressive (in different ways) despite their heights.
