Leyla! Rippon 2A to start, and she makes the 2T after the 3Lz happen. Kerrigan spiral entrance into her 3Lo. She has a very supple upper back, earns a level 4 in her layback spin and the flying sit spin, with a big jump into it - and the change foot combo spin at the end as well. I like the Ina Bauer coming round the corner in her step sequence and the way she leans into it with the circling arms. She is delightful.

Leyla is adorable, so tiny but fierce. She'll be very happy to have skated a clean Short Program here after the fall on the combo at JGP Ankara

Just a pity about the mistakes. Because it has all the ingredients for a great programme.
Ted's probably hit the nail on the head - the pressure of skating at her home event got to her.

Neat armography by Sabina at the start, all angular and juddering. Rippon 3Lz-2T as the first jumping pass, hand down on the 2A. Loved the arabesque spiral and Ina Bauer across the rink as the music builds, pity about the popped loop afterwards. Big jump into the flying sit spin at the end. Aw, she's upset - it wasn't what she wanted, but she went out there and didn't give up when things went wrong.
