Nikolajs. Really good outfit and program. He has so much potential. Good skate at home rink.

Fields Of Energy is the music for Albin. The blue sash is very nice - is it the source of the energy? Ooh the sash extends to the wrist of his left arm - cool. Nice interpretation to this minimalist music and good consistency.

It's early, but it appears that the outfit du jour this year might be take one's black practice UA and somehow stick some sparkles or drapes or whatnot on it.

Economy at its best - more money more extra practice, I can respect this for young skaters - ice time is expensive.

Albin. Nice outfit and program. Opening jump combo worth 14 points. Once he has a 3A, he will rise to the top. Great skate.

I like this guy. Thanks to Ted & Mark for pointing out how he hits his rotational position so quickly.

I like how he holds his arms in the jumps, a lot of the jumpers pull them in so tight and rigid they put me in mind of paintings of medieval becoffined skeletons (especially when they pull up their shoulders). Efficient but not attractive.

And some of them - like Albin and a couple of the earlier ones - look as good as some of the pricier ones.
