the difference it would have made if she had landed a better triple axel. She lost her confidence. She fought though. I am proud of her gutsy skate. It will come.

I am too! That was a credible attempt. She got a glimpse of the next step, that you must be able to go on. While it may not seem as successful right now, a lot of useful experience was gained with the attempt. Keep on keep on your efforts will be fruitful in time. Proud of you!

Hmm, not sure about the rotation on Sarah’s 3toe in the Lutz combo and now she is completely lost after falling on a 2Axel.

not so sure about that : they both had one good and one bad program... Maddie's short was so terrible she would not make the free skate.

I don't know the music... so I can't judge the dress in relation to it... but... if I just looked at it without any context, I'd wonder why this dress... it's not flattering at all

I guess the women were indeed the sacrificial lambs for how well the men’s SP was skated. This has been a disappointing event!

her components are 6 points higher than her TES, and deservedly so, she's made real strides with that second mark

I really like the material, but the jumps seemed a bit off today for Sarah. This program is intentionally supposed to portray someone learning how to move for the first time, and I think it does a really good job of working with Sarah's natural range of movement. She seemed really shook by the 2A fall, it completely took her out of the program, and she wasn't quite getting the same pop in the air as normal. A lot of her landings were close to being on the quarter in real-time, normally she has such clear, clean landings so this is really out of the norm. I really like the end step sequence, this is by far her strongest free skate material. I know some other people were confused by her SP score but she has randomly developed an underrotation program and because she's such a typically neat skater, these hooked landings really stand out and are easy to pick up on. Some like Bradie is so good at hiding the URs, but Sarah's not quite used to it.

Well... Maddie is a superior skater, so.... I wish Sarah had had a better skate just for her own confidence, and because I want her to nail that triple axle! But Maddie did what she had to do in this long program. That said, considering Maddie essentially hit all of her six triples very cleanly, and Sarah mode only cleanly, a 15-point difference really isn't that much... I actually don't think butterfly lovers is that great of a program for Maddie, and it's definitely not getting here very good PCS

Sarah Everhardt is technically excellent. This quirky program does not work for me, or maybe I just don't have a clue what she is trying to express. Busy and difficult yes, but leaves me confused.

With no knowledge beforehand, I realized this must be Poor Things (I haven't seen the film or heard the soundtrack, just know of it), so kudos in my eyes for communicating the character so well. What a great program for Sarah. Love Shae-Lynn's concept and choreo. For me, it works with Sarah's somewhat stiff presentation. I give credit for the Victorian costume concept, (eta: and it appears to be straight from one costume in the film), but it does look heavy/overwhelming.

That was the first time I saw Everhardt fall. And it was on a 2A. She should keep her position easily though.

An unusual choice of music & costume for Sarah Everhardt, gotta applaud that actually. I enjoyed it. The girl did look shocked with a fall on 2A but then did what she had planned.
