2025 World Championships Pairs Short Program

A strange fall from her at the beginning while doing linking steps/choreography quite well before the first element but then they knocked it out of the park

That was nice from Holichenko and Darenskyi. It looks like they must have had more ice time recently. They had been really struggling earlier in the season because its power supply kept getting hit in attacks.

I majored in English
Wrote poems for class
Learned how to pull them
Right out of my @ss

It's a little bit wild
Writing on the fly
But I wouldn't know
If I didn't try! :D

So Tara and Johnny were saying the German pair is the favorite. I would disagree.

It's so good to see that pairs really managed to get back to a higher quality in the last three years
Pairs has been developing wonderfully at all age levels, even in Novices & pre-Novices and in countries without strong pairs representation previously. Even though I have nothing to do with that at all, it does make me feel like a proud parent at times 😂

I love this program - it is so dynamic and fits perfectly with this team. This is one team that doesn't need to work on their skating skills - they are so fast and have one of the best lifts in the event. The 3Tw is a brand-new element for them, so it alternates between terrifying and okay - today was somewhat terrifying. Regardless of what happened today with this team, as long as RikuRyu finish in the top 10, Japan will have two spots for pairs at the Olympics, which will be a great opportunity for these two. I think the sky is the limit for them, and they're going to have a great season next year. I love seeing Sumitada consoling his partner, too - they just have such a strong foundation and get better every time out.

Is this KMT doing the commentary?

After reading some the comments here, I was expecting Betty Boop. Her voice is fine and she obviously has a great deal of pairs knowledge to impart. :)

Good recovery for the Ukrainians, really sparkled. Cover of Hit the Road Jack :(
Yes, Kirsten Moor-Towers.

Edit: spelling looks wrong, but you know who I mean.
