Sofia is definitely a bit younger than Lara in her skating - she doesn't have quite the same refinement yet - and I find that this program doesn't allow her to show off her youthful joy and excitement like the short program did. The jumps are very nice - good height and good length - but I want her to extend and punch that free leg up a bit higher to really emphasize the landing. There also weren't a whole lot of transitions in the jump setups, although she did have a lot in and out of the jumps themselves. Sofia will absolutely be thrilled with this skate, aside from the one error, but I hope next season she gets material like the short that better shows off her qualities.

I love her skating even with the mistakes. It is breathtakingly beautiful. She is like Alissa Czisny - beautiful but flawed. I would happily watch her any day of the week. This program with the sweeping romantic music is my personal favorite.
Is true but Alissa was persevering , remember that her twin sister Amber was very similar in her skating too.

Lara's FS is my favorite too and have something that missed in some other FS, content, expression and soul

Samodelkina was great to watch. The 3lz-3T combination in the 2nd half was big, I thought she was gonna get a clean skate but there was a fall at the end and no planned SEQ, but still very good. Her spread eagles and skating skills left an impression on me. Actually first time seeing this program.

Why put the last combo as the last jumping pass when you are not backloading all three combinations? The Flip was perfectly good and she could have easily done the sequence instead of loosing it completely.

I like this program better than the Short, particularly the choreo sequence is wonderful.

What on earth happened in ice dance? I've seen the results, but not the programmes. How did Reed/Ambrulevicius not qualify and how did Turkkila/Versluis end up as the last of the qualifiers? They should have both been comfortably in the top half?

Falls on elements.
