I think Chris enjoyed that from Amber. And I think everybody else in the arena did too. The place just erupted when she finished!

And deservedly so!

I thought the lead that Lorine took was big. But this is going to be even bigger!

And indeed it is! By 31.15 points in the FS, and by 31.19 points overall.

I hadn't actually noticed that they were so close in the SP.

It makes sense, though. There would have been much more pressure at Worlds and this competition is without such expectations.

There are exactly two skaters who can beat Amber's score, and both would have to be pretty close to perfect - Kaori and Alysa.

Being in the first group, the judges had to score Amber’s PCS conservatively, so they can beat her PCS score. Amber’s FS score here beat what both Alysa and Kaori scored in the FS at Worlds. Neither of them have scored in the 80s internationally this season in TES.

This is such a lovely program and you can tell she is inspired by it - great choice for next year and very smart to test it early.

What a beautiful programme from Madeline SCHIZAS (CAN)!

Have to be honest, I'm not fussed on the dress. It could do with less of the white and more of the pink. But, that is just a minor thing.

The music was beautiful, and the skating was beautiful.

She'll not take the lead. But she should go into the gap behind Amber.

She does. 2nd in both the FS and overall.
