Lara skating one of my favorite ladies programs ever
I just love all the transitions, the music and interpretations. Everything is passionately musical and lovely and different and original from most other programs.

Being in the first group, the judges had to score Amber’s PCS conservatively, so they can beat her PCS score. Amber’s FS score here beat what both Alysa and Kaori scored in the FS at Worlds. Neither of them have scored in the 80s internationally this season in TES.

Maybe unpopular opinion, but I don't think Amber's PCS here were particularly conservatively scored (if looked at in isolation). Amber is a wonderful person and skater, but her PCS aren't at the same level as her technical skills.

Kaori definitely deserves higher scores in skating skills & composition and Alysa in presentation, though we all know judges don't often make the distinction between different PCS categories. If that should be enough to beat Amber's TSS in the Free today is, of course, up for debate, but maybe we'll wait for that until after Kaori and Alysa have skated.

It just shows how strong @elektra blue's Italian Mama powers are. And the effect of her not being here has on the Italian skaters.

And my point has just been proved.

@elektra blue goes away to eat, and Anna PEZZETTA (ITA) has a nightmare skate. Then @elektra blue comes back, and Lara Naki GUTMANN (ITA) has a great skate!

Everything about that was beautiful.

Wow! That's a big score!

She goes into 2nd in both the FS and overall.
