Honestly, I'm so glad Ava and Yoni skated here! That was rough, but you could visible see the nerves. I hope this gives them some learning before Jr Wr.

Oooh Ava & Yono's senior international debut!?

Senior Major debut, yes. But they were 3rd out of 10 in Seniors at the Ice Challenge in Graz in November.

Ava KEMP / Yohnatan ELIZAROV (CAN) skating to "Sucession" by Nicholas Britell. Don't know the music, but it was very dramatic!

Both wearing black costumes with an almost art deco design on them.

Unfortunately, there were major mistakes.

They are disappointed.

They go into 6th position.

In all seriousness, it must be strange transitoning from competitor to coach. And strange for their students to stop seeing them as the competitor they have been watching for years.

I was just referring to the controversy a few years ago when Simon and Nicky slagged her off after a competition ended, not realising the microphones were still switched on. And they got the sack.

And I'm guessing maybe not so much. They would still have looked up to them as an older and much more experienced competitor. Still a role model and bit of an authority figure.
