This program is sooooo good, it shows off Phebe's posture so well. This team brings a wonderful classic carriage and a more subdued but very effective performance to this program. There were a few messy moments with the choreo, especially around the stationary lift and at the end of the program, but otherwise this was a fantastic program from these two. Their speed and depth of edge has really improved recently. The end isn't quite as well phrased to the music as we've seen with other teams, which combined with the slightly tight and messy elements due to fatigue resulted in lower GOE.
 
I can't believe it only occurred to me now that the reason for so many R and J programs is because the story takes place in Italy.

Once I watched some British middle schoolers who came to Italy and played various scenes from Shakespeare's plays set in Italy. Some of them were such good actors!
A little boy playing Mercutio stole the show, but my fave was one who nailed both Benedick and Mark Antony. He had range!
