They strive for authenticity.
This isn't really a response. I just found it really cute!

The music cuts are a little icky.

I agree. I didn't appreciate the editing.

But I did appreciate the skating.

Awwww. Louise gave a mention to Sinéad and John Kerr's "Matrix" programme.

Here it is:

Sinéad & John Kerr - 2004 World Championships FD

Evidently, "The Matrix" suits sibling partnerships.

The Taschlers go into 2nd position in both the FD and overall.

This team has improved so much over the past for years, I just can't get over how much their skating has improved. Their choreo elements are very cool, but don't fit musically for me, which is a shame. Apart from the twizzles, which were far from their best, the rest of this program was very strong. I do think they could improve on their connection with one another throughout, they're both doing a great job project out but don't interact with each other a lot of the time. Their choreo step is quite well integrated into the rest of the program, it doesn't feel like it comes out of nowhere, but again, I feel like the music is kind of in the background with this program.

There's nothing wrong with this program, it's just not...ENOUGH enough to switch me back to lovely programs after the last two got me hooked on cheese. It's small 'l' lovely. Am I making sense?
I call it limp softness, there is a sweet softness ex)R/M's R&J and there is a softness that is just... limp

Yes, for me Diana sorta lacks expressiveness and somewhat vague 'presence'. But this was nevertheless very skilled and obviously better than anything what has come before today.
