For me, Evgeniia and Geoffrey represent a step up in skating quality from what we've had so far, they're very fast and have great attack, but also have more intricate choreography and holds in this program. That serpentine step was sublime, fantastic flow and they generate speed from one push. Their lifts are also great, that curve-curve lift has such effortless change of position.
 
I unfortunately always wonder a little if the judges would be slightly kinder to them if she changed her hair. I feel like the bias for a traditional look is sadly still alive and well.

It's not a 'natural' red color.

I want to be clear I don't agree with the bias if any against it. I like her hair. But I think it's not outside the realm of possibility that some of the old school judges have a bias, conscious or unconscious, against it.
