I felt the fix was in for the French team from the moment Cizeron announced he was coming back. Now that he has his gold, I hope he will just go away.

Same, I never want to see him again.

Well, to be fair, chock/bates are nooooot the best skaters skating skills wise. I am not happy for them as people but they areee the best quality wise, even with messed up twizzles.
Rooting for Zignik to win 2030 though, or literally anyone else.

Any other team that botched those twizzles would sink like a stone.

They lost 1.1 points on the twizzles to Chock/Bates, even if they had lost 1 more point they still would have won overall.

I guess it's good thing that Marco decided to make this easy for me and I could cheer for P/P without being thorn.

Ice dance is a crooked sport and I never want to watch it again. If you can't do your twizzles perfect, you don't deserve to win.

No. He didn't make a mistake. He was just out of sync. And he was marked down for it. That was the superior skate. If the judges were honest, P2 would be 2nd in the FD.

Well, Maddie & Evan are three-time Olympic medallists now, with two golds in the TE and a silver here. That is an incredible achievement, they have had such a long and successful career.

Piper & Paul finally got their Olympic medal in the individual event as well, and Charlene and Marco did the same in the Team Event. All of these teams have been a delight to watch over the past quad, but I am also hopeful we will see a changing of the guard. Ice dance is ready for new faces, and based on the success of Z/K, LaLa, and the other teams waiting, the next four years will be very exciting.
