Unpopular opinion: I like Ricky Martin. It may help that I don't watch European skating a lot because of time zones, and he isn't used much by 4CC skaters.

I have a personal connection with Ricky Martin; we were once on the same plane. We didn't actually see him, since we were seated in the back before he was escorted into the front, but a bunch of Air Canada ground crew were lined up at the gate with their CDs, hoping for an autograph.

I know, so many good short track skaters from Canada including the Men's #1, but I cannot not cheer for our skaters so get all the medals from ice hockey and leave some for Minjung et al please

You know, they are of the age that they would have grown up watching Radzi on "Blue Peter". So, getting interviewed by him was probably nostalgic for them.

OK, so I watched him on "Blue Peter" too. But I wasn't in the target age range (I just carried on watching because I liked the programme). They were.
