If you notice, those seats are behind the judges and they leave them open on purpose.

But not that open. I was at the World Championships in Boston and was so close I could see their computer screens. I lucked out because back then I was a certified gymnastics judge and for some reason they thought that made me ok to sit there. Works for me!

I would have thought the men's competition would have more people attending than the dance.

Maybe there are less people there since it's a foregone conclusion that Ilia will win by abajillion points and so why bother staying?

I mean the guy is an incredible tecnical skater.

Sam has the most interesting music and his quality of movement is incredible. Some were standing even with the fall. I’m positive it will go unrewarded.

I love Sam's beautiful and creative skating and spins even when jumps are not perfect. Entertaining level 4 stsq with great performance energy.
